American Sign Language
what jobs can i apply for if i speak Fluent American Sign Language?
If i went to school to major in American Sign Language what job can I get into for that? Does Translating pay good? What does it pay? What Benefits are availiable for ASL speakers? How much do ASL teachers make?
In some public school settings, knowing ASL is actually a benefit. You never know when there will be a hard-of-hearing student in your class (or school), or whether or not a student has deaf parents (happened to me, once!). If teaching in a public school is not your fancy, why not apply to a school for the deaf or hard-of-hearing? Or, possibly working for the government might be a proper fit.
