Help setting up a guitar amp?
I primarily work with the acoustics so I need some help here. I got a cheapy amp Variable "Level" "Volume" (Distortion of the switch), "Volume", "Bass" "Medium" and "HF". I want to achieve rock sound like MCR or AC / DC or Rise Against song. But I can not make my amp sound like it should whether I'm better, not cheapy amp for this? If not, what?
your distortion switch should be on and at full level to to get the tone of those "hard rock". If your EQ goes from 0-10 to install all three pens in the middle (5), adjust its level distortion, then make your EQ. In addition, If you have a guitar with humbucker pickup on the bridge, set it to that pick-up only (the same one coil). But if your amplifier is simply not made to bear these tough heavy tone, distortion / overdrive pedal helps a lot. (She does that Kraaang sound to you)
